Hackney Walking Surgeries

Morningside Get Moving in the Morning

We are currently running a highly successful walking programme with Morningside Children’s Centre in Hackney. The walks which start at 9am on Monday mornings have attracted new walkers from across the borough who have all loved the walks and free step counters.

400 step counters disappear at Crossharbour!

On Sunday David, John and a squad of enthusiastic student volunteers from Queen Mary University descended on the ASDA supermarket at Crossharbour on the Isle of Dogs. Volunteers Attend First Aid Training

This morning, a group of Get Walking Keep Walking volunteers attended a ‘Save A Life’ first aid training, led by the British Red Cross. The group’s learning included discovering how to respond to the needs of unconscious casualty, CPR and bleeding.
